2028. New Orchid

I don’t know what type of orchid this is as I didn’t keep the label but it’s very pretty and the stems almost look like bamboo.
Not my sharpest image but I am going to take a look at my camera settings this afternoon and try some of the things I have been advised to do.

I got my eyes tested this morning and have finally been able to order new glasses which was quite a palaver but helpful nonetheless.  I have gone for super lightweight ones which should prove easier to wear with a mask than my present ones that I haven’t been able to wear for almost three months now.

I met a friend in town for a coffee and a chat which would have been lovely had it not been absolutely pouring with rain.  We sat on a bench on plastic carrier bags and kept our umbrellas up whilst drinking our coffees...not ideal but it was ok.

I didn’t sleep well last night and have been awake since 3:30am so I’m shattered now (it’s just after 2pm now), I think it’s just ongoing worries about my youngest and what we are going to be able to achieve during these very difficult times.
