Emu?

Just for a moment I was reminded of Rod Hull when I looked at this flower on Arisaema flavum!   

The first flowering, raised from seed, rather underwhelming if truth be told, as it's tiny.  A botanical curiosity but perhaps as the tubers get bigger so will the flowers.

A busy day.  Jamie has been painting the doors on our ancient kitchen units a lovely shade of blue .... transformational :-)   I took advantage of a dry day to fill the garden waste bin again and moved on to enlarging the front path which was not really wide enough for a wheelchair user.   Slabs lifted from the rear garden, relaid alongside the existing ones have made a significant improvement ...... and given me a jolly good workout!
