Ministering in Mylor

Congratulations to my friend Amanda who has secured a job as 'Interim Priest in Charge' of St Mylor and St Gluvias in Cornwall.  Excitingly I was invited to her licensing ceremony tonight.. on Zoom!  

What an experience!  There were over 100 people at the 'meeting' and most of them on video (but muted) so it was fun scrolling through the faces to find the familiar ones.  I'm pretty out of touch with the workings of the Church these days but the ceremony was rather lovely and the congregation really welcoming.  (See extra).

I took the photo of this bee on my phone in when it was rather windy, but it has come out very crisp which is good.  In the background you can see Jess disappearing down a rabbit hole.
