Adenauerpark in Speyer am Rhein
A meeting at the vocational school in Speyer (a 30 minute meeting and me on the road - or better tracks - for 4 1/2 hours). I really really hope no one shared a little virus with me.
Walking back to the trainstation I stopped at the Adenauerpark (a cemetary from 1502 until 1881 "Alter Friedhof Speyer", since 1967 a park).
The main blip is the chapel "Unserer lieben Frau", built 1515/1516.
The extra is the grave of former German chancellor Helmut Kohl. He died 2017 and had chosen this park to be his burial site, which caused many public discussions.
There is so much more to see and blip here (it was my second visit) but I didn't have the time today. I had to hurry to catch my train...
