Sigyn

Today has mostly been dominated by Sigyn. After her elbow op yesterday, her whole leg had swollen. We suspected the bandage may be too tight and restricting blood flowing up the way so we loosened it but the leg remained swollen. This morning I returned to the vet where they decided it was probably best to unwrap the wound and leave it exposed as it was in such a tricky place to bandage. Sigyn was not happy to be back at the vet.

I dropped the dogs off at the In Law's so I could go and tend to the horses. I also gave Jeepers a bit of schooling. Collecting the dogs, Sigyn was licking at her wound a bit but her leg was returning to normal.

Walkies on a lead for her for the next little while. I sat to watch Talisker hunting and pinging in the long grass and Sigyn thought she'd get the best view from above. 

Back home, Gorgeous was held up on a job so my trip to Burray was cancelled in order for me to make sure Sigyn didn't bother her stitches.
