Ent eye

Just so you know, we are watched all the time, not just by Big Brother but also by the trees ;-) An eye of one of our trees for Tiny Tuesday with thanks to Trisharooni for hosting in June.

We're on tenterhooks for D and F today. Tomorrow is the day Fumiko's visit pass to Singapore expires. Tomorrow is also the day they've told her to come to the ICA (Immigration) office at 8 am with all the papers to explain the situation. In normal times another extension would be very difficult. These are not normal times. But, she can still fly at the end of the 7th month of pregnancy and there are flights from Singapore to Japan, so in theory  the authorities could tell her she needs to go home to Japan. Dick still can't come with her to Japan. They have a confirmation for a date for a registry wedding at home in Singapore on the 11th of July and plane tickets to fly to NL ten days later. So it's hoping that they'll show their goodwill and let them stay together to wed and depart together. This has been going on so long now :-( Meanwhile the Schengen area countries are preparing to open up the outer borders for travellers from countries outside the EU but nothing is sure nor clear yet (and I haven't seen Singapore on a list of potential countries of departure). Keep your fingers crossed for them please !
