Wishful thinking

Rain rain and more rain today, plans for a socially distanced meet up with my eldest sister who is shielding we’re abandoned, as much as I love her I was not standing out in the rain talking to her through her window, that’s been postponed until we have better weather again.
I took Cat to the station for her train to Heathrow Where she is doing her last (hopefully not forever) virgin Atlantic flight before redundancy. It’s a there and back flight to Shanghai - no leaving the plane - to collect more PPE.
Covid is responsible for changing so many things for so many different people in so many ways - how long will it take the world to recover?
