Scarecrows

The scarecrows of Greenside and High Spen were doing their best to survive the wind today. Some had blown away and the butcher (complete with pig) had had to be taken inside the butcher's shop. It was difficult to decide which scarecrow to use as my main blip but I have chosen this happy dog. The extras show the newly-weds (located on the steps of the derelict chapel), the veteran and the miner (this is the North East after all!).
