Tree Spinach

A thing of beauty.
New to me.

The first extra was taken a couple of weeks ago.
Since then it's shot up, taller than me now.

Miraculously it survived the the autumnal winds and torrential rain of the last few days with only a couple of branches broken off.

So it was time to make Veronica's spinach and chickpeas recipe.
I've wanted to make this every time she mentions it but never quite got around to it.  More fool me.  

It is utterly delicious and I'm currently resisting the temptation to finish off the whole pan.  Highly recommended, thanks V.
