Sailing in These Times

According to Vessel Finder, we are the only passenger vessel out here, not surprising, as this is Brittany Ferries' first sailing. We are encouraged to stay in our cabins as much as possible, and have to wear masks if we venture out; all the staff are wearing masks. Most facilities are closed, including, sadly, the restaurant (which I love), but we did get a hot meal at lunchtime from the open air bar on the top deck.

Internet is expensive and slow, so we've mostly slept and read and talked - been good to catch up with ourselves. The hazy sun appeared a couple of times, we went outside - very windy.

Should be arriving in Bilbao at 6:45 am British time, so going to have some apples, cheese and crackers and go to bed soon.
