The Pagoda at Kew

Visited Kew Gardens today and was dismayed to see it like never before, rather depressing seeing the planting looking so neglected. Also not able to go into any of the conservatories. Having been to Wisley recently the contrast is amazing...presumably Kew has furloughed a greater proportion of workers or/ and relies more heavily on volunteer gardeners. It probably didn’t help that it was rather overcast and threatening to rain. So no blip of plants!

- cycled to Kew and still not impressed with the new cycle lane which replaces the parking on the road outside on the Kew Road....it does not continue past Kew Green or Kew bridge , as road narrower there, so pretty pointless.
- started sorting out daughters music books for her to check at weekend
- cleaned bike as being serviced tomorrow
