Here’s looking at you
The weather continues blustery with heavy showers but I was lucky for my walk via West Hills to Physic Lane and home over the moor. A sheep and thus lamb were on the path as I climbed the stile.
I had to chuckle as I passed a house-building site - the name of the company building was Pratt and Bodger.
We are cropping tomatoes like mad. I listened to a really interesting podcast from the Hidden Histories series about Adam Rutherford’s book ‘How to Argue with Racists”. I’m going to buy it if I can do it without resorting to Amazon.
Sheila and I are planning menus so that we can share food on our little trip away next week. Mr C and I are looking into a few days in Norfolk with the van if we can find a site (so far all are booked up till October!) so that we can meet up with Chloe and Graham when they are in a cottage there. Ruth in Ipswich has offered us parking in her drive so that we can see Dennis after his bowel cancer op. Not travel as we know it but a change in these strange times and The daughters are keen on a holiday together in Germany next summer but to the Black Forest rather than Pomerania.
