Watch out

The town cemetery is not far from us and is roughly split into 3 areas, the newer section post 1990 ish, the older area very Victorian full of statement headstones and displays of wealth and position, then there is the oldest section mostly pre industrial revolution. The entrance to the oldest section is through an arched gateway surmounted-by a watch tower. Back in the day, after an internment the family or a paid watch keeper would stand guard over the graveyard to deter body snatchers and grave robbers. The blip shows parts of several of the Victorian headstones with the watch tower in the background.
