Irene's Thistle

At last it is almost finished. This was the last day of the embroidery so although my work was not completely finished I made it up into a cushion. I ran out of thread so was unable to satin stitch round the leaves and stems. I made a Madiera cake(thanks to Cakescakescakes for the recipe)yesterday and took it today for afternoon tea and it was much appreciated.
Weather today was very wild and windy and just awful but the roof stayed on the greenhouse.
