Dolly in the darkness

Got notice a week ago that Scottish Power were going to be installing new power cables today! As neither Lewis or myself could be here he put a not on the door advising them of my return time and leaving his phone number if that was not suitable! I came home to no power! Lewis phoned and managed to get some people out to reconnect our electricity supply! Poor wee Melllvar has had no heat all day and instead of his enclosure being 30C it was 18C, too cold especially when it is only 3C outside! Why do these companies think one week is enough notice to give people who work, according to the electrician it is all they are legally required to give!
