At last

Yesterday I sat for over an hour trying to get a picture of our Red Kites in action. I failed miserably because they were just too quick. Tonight, whilst watching telly, Mr RR said 'Do you realise there is a kite just sitting on that branch' I knew my camera was upstairs so it was a toss up whether to just  sit there and watch it or make a mad dash for the camera. I didn't expect it to sit there long enough but thought I'd risk it. This is the result.
Three times this afternoon I went out to do some gardening. Three times the rains came after about 10 mins. I did get a few things done though.
