Bidford-on-Avon

Midday was Family Quiz on Zoom.  We thought we'd done reasonably well, but still came fourth :-(  it was good fun though, and great to see everyone.

After lunch we went to Bidford to see Jo and James.  It was a bit breezy to sit in the garden so we took a walk to the village centre and the bridge.  Looking back I'm surprised the last time I blipped a Bidford picture was the bridge on 1st March 2013.

Although Bidford is about 80 miles from the coast the village decided to temporarily rename their town Bidford-on-Sea, and to celebrate lockdown they would hold a scarecrow competition with a seaside holiday theme.  I only saw one entry on our walk, though looking at Facebook I see there's a whole lot more .  Thanks to Jo for the link.
