Finlayson Church

I had a meeting about upcoming wedding shoot scheduled for lunchtime, so after one load of silage off to Tampere. The ceremony is in this church, so it was a natural choice to meet there when the couple also met the priest.

The church was built in 1879 when the neighbouring Finlayson factory employed most of the work force in the town. Now the church is as popular as a wedding church as the cathedral.

After the meeting I had to take our fire extinguishers to the annual check. Later in the afternoon one more load of silage, then closing the first pit in the evening. Then mounted the sprayer and checked that everything works.
