Chele & Champi

Today has been a struggle of a day, hormonal (me) no doubt, but struggling with feeling low. We took ourselves out for a walk around the beautiful Old Town this morning. Lovely to meander and watch the kids enjoying this beautiful place. As we wandered, we heard a 'Champi' being shouted from behind us - it was Chele! He calls Danny by his uni nickname, 'Champ'...but being Spanish the 'i' is added, ha! It was so so soooo good to see him! He's doing really well despite Sole being in prison. This pic might be the next photo card I send to her I think...
I felt headachy and hormonal and had a nap, thankfully I woke feeling better and Nate and I spent few hours making earrings together. He kept us entertained at teatime by insisting on calling corn on the cob 'pinecones', haha!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) A friend from the UK texting saying she'd like to give a bit of money towards a tent for one of our friends, André. He'll be delighted.
2) James texting this morning saying he'd found his old Olympus compact camera he'd like to give to Asha! Still in good working use! She is SO pleased!
3) Chele doing so well. This man is such a treasure and we love him. As I've said before, he was the first Roma Gypsy person to take a risk on real friendship with us outsiders.
