i had a funny dream, you were wearing funny shoes

Bad, bad night's sleep! Too much grease and rum and beer = stayed awake most of last night, tossing and turning in bed. It got worse as I was becoming more anxious about having to be in work in 6/5/4/3 hours...then I fell asleep. Oh well, managed to get through the day without too much drama.

Tomorrow we have a visit in school by amazing author Anthony Browne. We've been reading loads of his stories, using his books as inspiration for the kids' own writing and art work as well as these life size papier-mache models of Willy the Wimp and one of the other characters. Willy the Wimp is such an amazing character - I urge everyone to get a copy of this kids' book. It is pretty good literature. Plus, who wouldn't like a chimp with that jumper??
