Bedraggled

A metaphor for most of the day. The rain continued and the wind got up to around 22 mph. The combination did for the flowers in the window box and I decided to cut my losses and harvest the best of the blooms which I placed with care in the smallest vase I could find. Sadly they look almost as bedraggled in their new place as they did on the balcony.
A really lazy Sunday, I even took the car to get the papers. I finished watching the first series of Trapped and I now long for Iceland, although not the time of year when the snow turns to slush. Not sure where they filmed it but it would certainly have been well north of Reykjavik where very little snows falls these days, even in February.
