Aranmula Mirror

We visited a village in Kerala called Aranmula where special mirrors are made.Mirrored glass is not used, just highly polished metal. We watched some being made at the craftsman's house.The process had taken over the whole house and his long suffering mother struggled to find anywhere to sit down. It does need an occasional polish with some special jewellers rouge.
