Peeking....

Late posting again...yesterday I completely forgot!

Regardless of the steady drizzle, we went for a walk after breakfast. I wanted to check the mileage of a certain route and D was happy to come with me.

It took us past the boys’ primary school after we moved here, where M joined Yr3 and J began later in Reception. Looking through these railings, not a lot has changed in these KS1 buildings over the years except for the playground furniture and main entrance. The orange building was J’s Yr2 classroom.
A good walk/ ramble/amble to begin the day.

Then, not a lot really! Household chores and a bit more sewing! We finally watched Philomena this evening. A mixture of sadness and humour and Judy Dench and Steve Coogan were wonderfully casted. Oh, before that we thoroughly enjoyed a documentary on Carole King. Great music and lyrics and songs that will last a lifetime.
