New loco

As it looks as though it is going to rain all day I have been looking for an indoor blip.

On my birthday I was lucky to receive a new N gauge Swiss loco and some of you have expressed a wish to see it. So here it is.

These powerful electric engines are designed to run at 120 m.p.h. They are used mainly for freight trains and lots of them have advertising on the side - a controversial policy when it was introduced.
This one, however, has a message which translates as “ We connect Switzerland”. On the opposite side it says “ Nous relions les Suisses” i.e.
We connect the Swiss.

The railway gets switched on and run regularly. But its further development awaits the onset of Aurumn.
