Clinging on

This poor wet squirrel was doing his best to get the nuts while the wind was doing its best to rock the feeder to and fro. I watched him adjust his position, back paws clinging round the tree trunk holding him firm, one paw grabbing and holding the feeder and using the other paw to steady and balance as he ate. In close up he looks more like some rain forest animal than a squirrel in a garden.
