Apocalyptic

The last 24 hours have been a bit of a challenge. Firstly, last night we had a power cut, then this morning we had a new hub delivered, which meant setting up and reconfiguring all our devices and resetting our tv services. Then, just before supper time, the water went off without warning. Thankfully, that has now been restored so fingers crossed that that’s the 3 things over and done with.
In terms of weather the one constant has been a strong wind. We’d had rain overnight and a number of sharp showers but happily it was dry when I went out to feed the birds. We planted 2 types of iris but only one plant of this one seems to have survived.
