A Very Long Build

Thirteen years in fact. Today is our 12th wedding anniversary and this cardboard model of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre was purchased in London the previous year when we holidayed there and bought the rings. The unmade model has travelled everywhere with us since as one of those "one of these days" projects. I eventually got sick of looking at it so a couple of weeks ago i began the build in order to have it finished for today. Fiendishly difficult it was too. I bet the real thing didn't take that long to build, either the original or the replica theatre which we visited.

PS. I hear that the venue is in serious financial trouble and may very well have to close down. I sincerely hope that doesn't happen because it really is a wonderful place to visit.
