Common blue

Managed to fit in a walk to the beach between thunderstorms today. Spotted this butterfly flitting around the dunes. I tried to get a picture of his wings spread out to show the intense blue colour but he wasn’t cooperating and kept them tightly closed whilst he did at least sit still long enough for  me to take a picture.
