Allium Spaerocephalon.

A few of these have appeared in my wild patch now standing high above the chives so I do not think they are chives.  Looking them up this seems to be the name for them.  They are very welcome as the colour going from green to purple is gorgeous.  Had to cut one to bring home to photograph as the strong wind was swaying them about too much.  May be another photo to be had from this when it opens fully.
