A day on the water

The hottest day of the year - we had the kayak loaded on the Land Rover first thing, and were parked in Kettlewell car park by 8.30 - in the last space! In the water by 8.45, and kayaked round the lake, then partway along the river Derwent. it was a fabulous day. Those of you with good eyesight will spot a paddle behind mine in perfect time - that's Deb.

In the evening we took a walk to Friars Crag and were horrified to see a group of 3 guys Jetskiing over Derwentwater - something that certainly isn't allowed!
