Portrait of my Mum

Stage 2  to share with you as promised -  adding oil paint over the charcoal sketch - flesh tones first, then beginnings of a background.  Tomorrow I need to decide on her dress colour.  The reference photo looks like cream silk with a lacy trim so I might go with that.  She was a lovely pianist so I
am including a roll of sheet music in her hand.  Maybe a treble cleft on it to show that it is music.
