That Silly Stare!

Today saw the grand final of the Bathgate Staring Championship 2020.

A fiercely contested affair between Mrs Blackbird and a pear saw Mrs Blackbird emerge as the worthy champion.

"Fair play to him, but it was always going to be a case of who held their nerve longest and who blinked first!" said a jubilant Mrs Blackbird  afterwards.

The pear was unavailable for comment!
