Weather for ducks!

A Silly Saturday tribute to admirer 
Thanks to 60Plus for organising. How sad that we have lost someone so keen to see fun in everything. My thoughts are with her family.

We had yesterday, and are still having, very heavy downpours of rain. In a brief respite I popped out to take a photo and spotted this festival chair, left out after our morning visitors yesterday, containing a duck sized puddle! We have a small duck on the side of the bath from a hotel we stayed in in N Ireland some years ago. So here is my blip! 
The alternative is in the extra. I took a similar one in the sun the other day to send to Grace. Eeyore looks a bit bemused at having to sit on a wet swing, hopefully Eda won’t when she comes to visit.

Normally we combine a Saturday walk with a distanced visit to our son at the top of the village but every time it brightens up a bit a heavy shower arrives minutes later. Probably the first Saturday we haven’t been since lockdown.
