Resting

Today the only way to help young Luca to get his nap was to walk round the park with him in the baby sling. We sheltered under the trees from the warm rain. I sang (out of tune) and he fell asleep. We came back and I sank into a chair, L still snoozing. Downstairs I can hear my other half engaged in a long construction game with Eben, L's big brother. Their Mum & Dad - my daughter and partner - are across town, looking after my ex (father of my son snd daughter) who is terminally ill. We are working through it together.
