2020 Thursday — Birthday Boy

We had such a wonderful “day after his birthday” dinner with little RJ and his mom, dad, and paternal grandma.

It was so fun to just be in the same room with little RJ and watch him walk with lightning speed and navigate around and over his toys that he had scattered all over the floor.

RJ’s daddy, Robert, cooked dinner for all of us. I don’t know the French name of it, but chicken cooked with mushrooms and wine accompanied with Cesar salad and mashed potatoes. It was delicious.

Not quite a month ago, Robert, Ashly, and little RJ moved into a brand new “multi-generation” house with Robert’s mom & dad. I’m very impressed by the layout and design of the house. Each family has their designated part of the house and then the kitchen, dining room, and great room are common areas. It’s a beautifully planned house.

Time with our granddaughter and her family was so nourishing for us.

Tomorrow we head for California’s Central Coast. We’ll stay for all of July and into August as we waiting for the next medical procedure for Mr. Fun’s Prostate cancer. He has received hormone therapy and will be retested in August.
