An evening encounter
It was the first morning for a long time that was nice and sunny so I went straight outside with my cuppa and my iPad to watch the Cannon Hall Farm broadcast.
It did not last long and the mist rolled in and stayed with us until about midday. We watched some of Glastonbury on the telly , had lunch and then Richard came over.It was beautiful and sunny by then and hot so we sat in the shade at the top of the garden.
Richard went home , we had dinner and I wanted to see if there was a colourful sunset so we headed down to the Point. The colours were subtle rather than vibrant but still lovely to see and to be near the water. We were not expecting to see any dolphins as it was low tide so were delighted when a couple rolled up and then a few more. Most of the action was further out with a few body slaps, tail slaps , spy hopping and leaps. I managed to get a few shots and considering this was taken at 10.29pm it’s not too bad. One came closer with the fish it had caught spitting it out it to the air to get it in the right direction to swallow :)
