Lake Hayes

Escaped the inversion layer today by driving out to Arrow Junction (near Arrowtown, near Queenstown), parked and walked along the track above the Arrow River Gorge to the swing bridge.  Some high cloud, some sun.  Then a visit to the Five Mile shopping precinct for a few things including a sandwich for lunch which we ate overlooking Lake Hayes - at three o’clock!
