Face to face at quite a pace

I can’t get over today.

After leading another Bible Study on Zoom, that leaves my head a bit sludgey, today just ran along at quite a pace.

LongLegs decided to cycle up from Wimbledon (in the blazing heat) to see us all, and intending to sleep somehow in the garden. We don’t own a little tent so we borrowed a neighbours gazebo, moved garden furniture around and made an outdoors bedroom.

So he arrived, was fed and watered :-) and then I went to visit my ‘Pigeon Squad’ in a back garden, an easy bike ride away. Then back to LongLegs and a visiting Nanna who hasn’t seen him in a very long time.

Supper and then we had a lovely evening invite too. Kindly hosted and cared for and with the extra delight of a grown-up daughter who just happens to enjoy baking and creating in the kitchen.

Because our big car is off the road, and LongLegs couldn’t go in our car anyway, we all arrived in dribs and drabs. A mini and various bikes. Really really nice to be invited and really really nice to be there and catch up face to face ... which is what I seemed to do all day. :-)
