Party. With not many guests.

Hannah is 21 tomorrow. Before the lockdown she was planning a big garden party. She wasn’t bothered about gifts, she just wanted everyone she loved in one spot at the same time.

So, she has her very best friends here tonight for cocktails and tomorrow she has family and her boyfriend visiting. We’ve decorated the garden just as she wanted it, and tomorrow we ordering take out and playing games.

I can hear her and her friends laughing, some work mates just called separately and handed gifts over the gate.

I think we pulled off the next best thing.
