Flower Friday - Just a Tinge of Red

The thunder has thus far gone around us, and the gardens remain hot and thirsty; the rains are due tomorrow morning. I may go for a ride later, but it's still too hot for the bike gear. And you gotta wear the gear, right?

We took bottles of water and made it around the village circuit before the noonday Sun turned us all to oil smears, then a stir fry of beans and pak choi from the garden, mixed in with some carrot, onions and peppers.

The poppies in the small front garden have decided to be white, and are popping up all over. They only last a day though, and sometimes not even that, and the lawn is confetti'd with white petals.
