Muslim Burial Ground and Peace garden.

On Horsell Common (where the Martians landed, according to HG Wells,) is this memorial Garden. Originally the final resting place for 19 Muslim soldiers killed in WW1 and 8 from WW2. IN 1965 they were reinterred at Brookwood cemetery. After years of neglect, lottery funding enabled this pleasant garden to be created, officially opened by the Earl of Wessex in 2015.
