This is not just any viola.....

it's an M&S viola.

At the beginning of this year M&S gave free seed kits if you spent £20 or more on food. I got this kit for growing violas (I think the kits were meant for children). But I planted and nurtured and have just been rewarded with my first flower. I can't remember when I last grew anything from seed (probably around 1960!!) so I'm disproportionately proud of myself.

I also got a kit for growing peppers but I don't think they are going to be so successful. I'll let you know.
