Brighton Breezy

Riding in the car with the windows down, feeling the rush of the wind on your face. The freshness of the sea air, the constant rhythmic lapping of the waves, the straightness of the horizon past them. The freedom of a day without deadlines, the unhurriedness of conversation; conversations that help you understand the people you love a little bit better. Wide open spaces, the best places to breathe. God speaking. Mental rest.

Today has a lot to be thankful for.

Gratefuls:

- The sea!! And especially sharing that enjoyment with other people...as soon as Sophie saw it, she said, “the sea is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.”
- Seeing Holly again, how she just so naturally brings Jesus into conversations. Which makes sense - we don’t have to force talking about the things we love.
- God’s gentleness with us. That He is kind.
- Finding a cool little Korean place to get takeaway dinner, chatting to Mike who made our food (who gave us free sauce tasters to help our indecisiveness!)
- The pace of today, and time with Jesus.
- Getting lots of excited messages from my brother, about all the new Apple IOS updates. Most of it is like a foreign language to me, but I love when he shares about his passions.
