Fairy House

Ive been meaning to blip this delightful 'art installation' since the beginning of lockdown.
A neighbour in the lane has three girls and the youngest ( 9, I think)made this fairy house in amongst the tree roots on the bridlepath up to the common. As it's a lane I walk up most days I have seen it develop. The creativity /imagination is amazing for someone so young.

An announcement was made in the Parish News encouraging all the young kids in the village to make a visit. As it can only be reached on foot and by climbing up a steep ascent, I think visitors got their exercise for the day.

It has been very hot today and when the 'girls' came over for lunch we had to sit mainly in the shade. We haven't all been together for months, even though we have all met up in twos as was permitted.
Time certainly flies when you're enjoying yourself or maybe, it was the Buck's Fizz ;-D)!
