Early Running.

I got out for my run early today, thinking that I was being tactical & avoiding the heat.

It wasn’t quite tactical enough; it was absolutely sweltering & very hard work but rewarding nonetheless.

I wasn’t complaining- especially given the way the lake was looking this morning.

Amidst work, I had a bit of self-indulgence on the ‘mother throne’, I met a couple of friends for a swim in the lake & had another couple of friends over for dinner in the garden.

It was a sunny day, as it should be spent: a good mix of solitude & socialising.
