Birds Of Paradise

They grow like weeds out here. And these are below my apartment in the BBQ area with the pond and waterfalls behind.

Well I didn't get very far with my plan to return to work today. The nurse spotted me in the car park and that was it. The risk of infection while I still have a catheter stuck in me is far too great and so the Principal and the Director told me to go home like a good boy and not to darken their door until I was properly fit.

It is a good opportunity for Val, "Mrs Fixit" as I call her, and I to sort out all my medical paperwork, N.I. numbers etc in case of a repeat performance - or something different. So we queued for an hour in the DHSS in Fuengirola, only to be told to come back tomorrow with some different paperwork!

So it's a week of rest at home for me, and the weather forecast is perfect for the whole time! I have set loads of work so will have marking to do - in the sunshine, naturally.
