Day 94 – Meikle Bin

After not using the car for 13 weeks, today we went out in it again. Today we took 4 young trees to our friends J & M who live in Torphichen and who have a lot of ground where they are planting trees. We had grown 2 Horse Chestnuts from conkers, but they had really become too big for their pots and we weren’t going to plant them in our garden. We also had 2 Silver Birches and they were happy to take them also. We had a look around, had afternoon tea in the garden and then went for a walk up the nearby Witch Craig to see the view. The blip was taken on the way down looking west towards the distinctive hill of Meikle Bin. Despite the heat it was reasonably clear. It was good to speak to people in person that we’ve only had Zoom calls with these past 3 months.
