Red cliffs
These are the red rocks that turn our sea water reddish brown. I checked this morning and the sea was looking very clear but by the time we went down to the beach mid afternoon some murky water had appeared. Nevertheless I was determined to go in for a dip this being the hottest day of the year and dip I did as on coming out of the sea, I must have tripped in the pebbles and went right under the water, a first for me. I managed to get my balance back and recovered. It was very mild for late June. I don’t usually manage to get in until September.
I booked a cottage In Dorset for September today so that hopefully we can complete the South West coastal path then.
