another difficult day in the villages

and due to this my brother, who has been self isolating alone for the duration, will not be coming to visit as planned.  

understandably he was very keen to get out, but with this chaos we thought it best to postpone for a week or two until the police have got their heads round what's going on here.

highlight of the day:  an unexpected gift of freshly laid eggs.  i ate one for lunch.

this is a photo taken by a local of the rubbish mountain that accrues through the course of one day.  i have never seen anything like it...and that won't be all of it, just what they've managed to pick up.  
also, it's only just one beach.
