What a lovely day

We did a few unintentional circuits of Grass Wood before getting ourselves on the right path up on to the top of the Dales Way and along to Conistone but every bit was stunning.  The dancing butterflies in the warm breeze made it extra special, along with my first dark green fritillary. 

It was a great pleasure to share the walk and summery day with Sarah.  Too hot and too far for Little Dog today but she did enjoy a mooch around the cool woods before I set off.
